OUR PEOPLE

TAYLOR

Al Taylor is an accomplished business leader renowned for his strategic acumen and creative capability and its application in driving exceptional commercial outcomes. As the Group Managing Director, he played a pivotal role in transforming WA based ad agency 303 into the largest independently owned agency in Australia and it’s subsequent acquisition by listed in the US communication group, IPG. After serving as Chair of 303MullenLowe, Al joined Hospitality and Brewing Group, Triple-1-Three as CEO. There he was instrumental in developing Otherside Brewing - one of the fastest-growing craft beer brands in the state – and the establishment and expansion of the venue portfolio through acquisitions and commercial joint ventures. After 5 years, Al stepped down as CEO to concentrate on Taylor Simpson Jones. Al holds numerous board and strategic advisory positions across diverse industries and is a passionate advocate for the WA arts and culture community.

SIMPSON

Derry Simpson is considered one of Western Australia’s most credentialed and talented brand and business strategists; with over 20 years’ experience as the strategic architect of some of Australia’s best-known brands and businesses. Her reputation and success are grounded in effectiveness and commercial creativity, which she has brought to bear working across myriad businesses from FMCG, retail, banking, not for- profit, academia, health and research categories. An exceptional facilitator, coach and leader, Derry holds a number of Board and strategic advisory positions, is mentor to many young women in WA and a 2018 Telstra WA Business Woman of the Year Finalist. As the CEO of Youth Focus, Derry is a passionate advocate for young people in Western Australia.

JONES

Anna Jones is an experienced brand strategist, CMO and CX Architect. Her specialties include retail, travel & hospitality, FMCG, automotive and tech. As the CMO of Ormina Tours, Guzman Y Gomez and Red Rooster, Anna oversaw sales, marketing, agency relationships, new product development, customer service and technology platform development. As a member of the senior leadership team, she was an integral part of developing each brands’ business strategy and long-term growth plans. Anna also has extensive agency experience working on the global Mattel Girls business and General Motors entertainment accounts out of Los Angeles. Anna started her career in NY at NBC and HBO.
